Tony Vazquez

I'm a member of the Social Service Committee and of the Public Safety Committee of Brooklyn's Community Board 6. I've been on various committees, including Housing/Environment and Youth/Education, since I first volunteered with CB6 in 1995. I've also supervised social work students who did a field placement in the CB6 office.

I also volunteer with two Disaster Mental Health teams: the American Red Cross of Greater New York, and the Critical Incident Response Team, through the New York State Office of Mental Health.

I am also a member of Local Board 142 of the Selective Service System. No, stop laughing; my training certificate may have been dated April Fool's, but I really am!
