Northside Community Garden

COMMUNITY EVENT: Open Garden

Sunday, April 29, 2001, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.(weather permitting)

The garden is currently at a peak for viewing. Please drop by on Sunday for any of the following:

· Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival): Take a look at the cherry blossoms (bring your own sake!)

· National Arbor Day observance: learn about the trees in the garden

· Get an update on the garden and learn the various ways you can get involved

If you cannot drop by on Sunday, try to walk by the garden soon to see all of the beautiful flowers and trees in bloom.

Location: the corner of Driggs Avenue and North 5th St., the Northside of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

Subway: L to Bedford Ave, exit at Driggs side, walk two blocks south on Driggs.

Bus: M61 to North 7th St., walk south to North 5th St., walk to Driggs Ave. corner (1 block east of Bedford)
